We are doomed!

I've been thinking about this post a lot. That's how I choose the posts, that I decide to link in my blog. It's Exterminating life is Rational.

Even the most moral people - in fact, especially the "most moral" people - do not incorporate the benefits to others, especially future others, into their utility functions. If we did that, we would engage in massive eugenics programs. But eugenics is considered the greatest immorality.

I have hard time to even incorporate benefits to my future self into my utility functions.
